LIMITED 30-DAY NORTH AMERICAN WARRANTY ON COMPOSITE STICKS/SHAFTS/REPLACEMENT BLADES (Unless noted differently)

What does this warranty cover?
Nike Bauer Hockey, Inc. will provide a one-time replacement of your composite stick/shaft/replacement blade if broken due to a manufacturing defect.

What doesn't this warranty cover?
This warranty does not cover stick/shaft/replacement blade breakage due to misuse or abuse. It also does not cover wood sticks, prostock sticks, or sticks sold by Nike Bauer Hockey’s Team Sales group.

What is the period of coverage?
The period of coverage is 30 days after the purchase date. You must contact Nike Bauer Hockey regarding your broken stick, within this 30 day warranty period.

What will Nike Bauer Hockey do to correct problems?
We will replace the stick/shaft/replacement blade with the same or a comparable model.

What won't Nike Bauer Hockey do?
We will not repair the stick/shaft/replacement blade or refund your money. We will not return ship any broken sticks.

How do you get warranty service?
You must keep your original proof of purchase. For the most efficient service, visit us at www.nikebauer.com to obtain a return authorization number and a return address. You must send, at your expense, your original proof of purchase and your stick/shaft/replacement blade to the address provided. If, upon examination, Nike Bauer Hockey determines (in our sole discretion) that there is a manufacturing defect, we will ship a new stick/shaft/replacement blade to the address you provide. Are there important exclusions/limitations?
This warranty limits the duration of any implied warranties, such as the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the duration of this express warranty. In addition, this warranty excludes our liability for incidental or consequential damages.

How does local law relate to this warranty?
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary regionally or nationally. Some locales do not allow limitations on the length of time an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

CONSUMER DIRECT HOCKEY SHAFT LIMITED WARRANTY EFFECTIVE June 1st, 2001

Easton Hockey Shafts are covered by a 30 Day limited warranty against manufacturer's defect only. This warranty covers damage/premature breakage caused by a manufacturer's defect only and is extended with the understanding that hockey is a contact sport which causes stick breakage.

Easton Sports will replace any defective composite or aluminum shaft for a period of 30 days from date of purchase, under the conditions listed below:

The shaft/Synergy stick is accompanied by receipt (original proof of purchase).

The shaft/Synergy stick broke during normal use as the result of a manufacturer's defect.
The shaft was used with an Easton blade at all times.
The shaft/Synergy stick is not exposed to an open flame.
The shaft shows no signs of being overheated by any heat source.
The shaft/Synergy stick damage was not caused by contact with another player, skate, stick, boards etc.
The shaft/Synergy stick was not a factory second, blem, or purchased used.

*Warranty parameters will be determined exclusively by Easton Sports.

Professional and College Teams are excluded from this warranty.

HOW TO RETURN A DEFECTIVE SHAFT/SYNERGY STICK WITHIN THE USA (INCLUDING HAWAII & ALASKA)

Do not return the shaft/Synergy stick to your hockey/sporting goods dealer.
Call the Easton Sports Warranty Department at 888-259-1297 to obtain a return authorization number and return address. You can also obtain a RA# via our website at: eastonsports.com
Send the defective shaft/Synergy along with proof of purchase to the Easton Warranty Department.
If Easton Sports agrees the shaft/Synergy stick is defective, we will send out a replacement shaft/Synergy stick within 3 business days of receiving the defective product. Return shipment will be via 2-day delivery.
If Easton sports deems the shaft/Synergy Stick as not under warranty, the product will be returned to you.

Please note: You must save your original receipt from your authorized Easton Sports Inc. dealer as proof of purchase. It is required to return a defective stick. Third party receipts, such as PayPal, Paypoint, etc.
will not be accepted. Sticks returned without proof of purchase may not be warranted.

OUTSIDE THE USA

Do not return the shaft/Synergy stick to Easton Sports!
Return the defective shaft/Synergy stick along with proof of purchase to the hockey dealer from which it was purchased.
If the dealer agrees the product is defective, he or she should provide you with a replacement shaft/Synergy stick or order one from Easton Sports if the desired model or size is temporarily out of stock.

Composite Hockey Sticks, Shafts and Composite Blades Warranty Honoured by the Manufacturer

Sher-Wood Drolet warrants to the original buyer exclusively, that its hockey sticks, shafts and blades will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and customary use for thirty (30) days from the original retail purchase date.

Sher-Wood Drolet will provide a "ONE-TIME" warranty replacement for any hockey stick, shaft and blades product that fails due to defects in materials and workmanship under normal and customary use, provided:

  • That the stick, shaft and/or blade was purchased at an authorized Sher-Wood Drolet; retailer;
  • That the consumer submits a proof of purchase from an authorized dealer in the form of an original electronic cash register receipt;
  • That there is no evidence that the hockey stick, shaft and/or blade has been abused, tampered with, over-heated, altered, defaced, misused, skate-cut, exposed to open flame or otherwise damaged through an act of neglect of the consumer;
  • That the hockey stick and/or shaft is returned in its entirety;
  • That the shaft was used with a Sher-Wood blade at all times.

* Professional, Junior and College team sales are excluded from this warranty.

Any claim for warranty service should be made to 1-866-563-2205, extension 2175. A return authorization number (RAN) and all pertinent shipping instructions will be given to you. We will require that you supply our Customer Service representative with the following information in order to get your RAN: the date of purchase of the product, the retailer’s name, your address and telephone number and, a description as to how your hockey stick or handle was broken. Following the receipt and inspection of the product, Sher-Wood Drolet reserves the right to turn down your request if above conditions have not been met.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your new Black Beauty® products. Shafts have a 30-day guarantee; if they break within the 30-days after purchase, please contact us for replacements. All other products may be returned if they are in new condition (unopened, unused). A $10 restocking fee will be charged.

As such, The Hockey Company composite one piece sticks and shafts are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects for 30 days from date of purchase by consumer. This warranty does not apply to Composite Goalie sticks, blades and to Pro, Junior, or College team sales.The Hockey Company will replace a composite one piece stick or shaft if we determine upon inspection of the product and upon receiving the original sales receipt with the return coupon, that:

  • The breakage occurred within 30 days of purchase by consumer; and
  • The breakage is a result of a manufacturing defect.

Damage due to the following will not be covered by this warranty:

  • The breakage is a result from contact with another player, skate blade, goal post or rink boards.The blade is exposed to any type of open flame or heat source which modifies the curvature of the blade.The blade is tampered with a rasp, file or sandpaper.
  • The composite shaft or blade is exposed to an open flame or overheating.

The customer will receive a maximum of 1 replacement under this warranty program. For example, if the customer breaks his/her composite one piece stick or shaft within 30 days of purchase and gets a replacement from The Hockey Company under warranty and breaks it, the customer will not receive another stick or shaft regardless of when the replacement breaks.

Return the entire composite one piece stick or shaft and the original receipt to The Hockey Company at the address below.

If The Hockey Company determines your composite one piece stick or shaft broke as a result of a manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase, The Hockey Company will replace your composite one piece stick or shaft. The replacement will be shipped at The Hockey Company’s expense.

If The Hockey Company determines your composite one piece stick or shaft is not covered under warranty or that you failed to meet the criteria described above, your product will be returned to you at your expense.

All decisions by The Hockey Company’s Warranty Department are final.
